My preferred area of practice is Personal Injury litigation. Since 1990, I have practised in this area exclusively on behalf of injured people.
In my early years, I also represented the Attorney General of British Columbia as Counsel acting on behalf of the Superintendent of Family and Child Service to protect the interests of children. I also was an agent for the Department of Justice of Canada, prosecuting criminal cases involving narcotics importation and trafficking as well as immigration fraud.
My decision to pursue a career in law was partly based on a desire to contribute to my community and to help others. In the last several years, my practice has evolved such that the majority of my clients are individuals injured by another’s negligence.
I take pride and satisfaction in making a tangible difference in my client’s life. It is particularly rewarding to help a person move from a place of devastating personal circumstances, as can be the case after a personal injury, to a position where they can meet life’s challenges with better knowledge, understanding, financial security, and a sense of dignity.
I consider it a privilege to be entrusted by a client with their legal issues. In keeping with our firm’s ethic, I strive to provide to a client quality legal services commensurate with that trust.
