Krista Simon, a partner in our personal injury practice, has been nominated in The Canadian Lawyer’s “Top 25 Most Influential” awards.
Krista is nominated in the “Young Influencers” category, which honours Canadian lawyers under 40 making a real impact in their communities and in the legal profession.
In 2015, Krista was president of the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C. — only the fourth woman president in the organization’s 35 year history. During her tenure, she forged key relationships with stakeholders and directed the organization’s attention to greater participation in a wide variety of legal issues.
She was the first woman at the firm to achieve partnership and has become a mentor and educator for young lawyers both within and outside this firm.
Hammerco is proud to announce that Partner Krista Simon has been appointed a member of the Judicial Council of the Tsawwassen First Nation for a five-year term.
Billed as “enhanced care” for British Columbians by the government, BC citizens are finding out too late that ICBC’s no-fault insurance falls short of providing adequate care for those injured in car accidents.
Hammerco's Managing Partner Morgyn Chandler is included in the 2024 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Canada's most comprehensive guide to legal talent.
