Our Commercial and Corporate Law group provides a broad range of legal services to established and emerging businesses as well as to financial institutions, government entities and individuals. We advise our business clients regarding their ongoing business activities, guiding them through inception, growth and expansion, strategic alliances, joint ventures and commercial arrangements of virtually every kind, including acquisitions, mergers, financing, reorganizations, shareholders agreements and disputes, divestitures, commercial contracts, employer-employee relations, and secured transactions.

We achieve results not by increasing the number of lawyers on a transaction, but by thoughtfully involving lawyers who possess and apply the appropriate skills and resources. Where necessary, we involve external resources to address the specific needs of a transaction. To better serve our clients with national and international business, we have a network of specialists and colleagues with whom we work as a team.

We recognize that clients come to specific lawyers not only for the lawyer’s technical expertise but also for his or her judgement and approach to problem solving. In our business group, we look for ways to remove obstacles, not create them. From a relationship perspective, our clients remain in the care of, and have ready access to, their selected lawyer. This, in our view, is the foundation for a strong and consistent working relationship.
